St David's church, Penrhyn Bay
Dedicated to St David, this church was built in 1963 to a design by Roiser and Whitestone of Cheltenham. The church has no tower, but has a tall separate free-standing brick and green granite campanile. Personally, I think with is a particularly pleasing mid-20th century church. I like the five-light windows with a pointed top, though I'm not so keen on the low building in front which looks a little like a public convenience. I think the sign writer got their full stop in the wrong place.

Eglwys Dewi Sant / St David's Church, Penrhyn Bay
This church was built in 1963 to a design by Rosier and Whitestone of Cheltenham, to replace a wooden church of 1929. That church was of timber construction and was destroyed during a storm at the end of the 1950s. It is a fine example of church architecture of the period, using laminated timber beams for the roof construction. Not Listed, but probably deserves to be.

St. David's Church 1
A rather unusual piece of architecture, having no tower but a separate upstanding feature instead. The church belongs to the Church in Wales, but little history is available. I hope to put more details here in due course.
