Woodland footpath
A footpath runs along the top of the wooded escarpment from Nant-y-Gamar to Penrhynside. In the winter sun, with no leaves on the trees, the woods are a riot of branching and interlocking forms.

Bushes on Nant-y-Gamar
The overgrown common on the summit of the hill, with a view of the woodland stretching away to Penrhynside. The mid-distance includes Bryn Euryn Image and Llandrillo-yn-Rhos. In the far distance a layer of fog is flowing out to sea from the Vale of Clwyd, leaving isolated 'nunataks' of the Clwydian range.
