Llandudno from the Cable Car
Looking towards the pier and the Little Orme. The cable car runs along the Great Orme spanning a distance of one mile, forty feet exactly. The cable car was first opened in the summer of 1969, and has since been operational for over 40 years. There are currently 20 cabins in service, which leave each station approximately every minute. The cabins are painted in red, yellow, orange, light blue and purple. The cable car is now owned by Kinetics Industrial Ltd. The highest point from the ground is around 80 feet. It has 9 pylons supporting the cable.

Artificial caves under Great Orme - view from interior in direction of Happy Valley
Created (by blasting) during WW2, so I am told, as ammo / equipment store. They can be reached by going up Happy Valley, with cafe on left, park and fake stone circle on right, then leaving the main path and following a short, narrow path largely hidden by undergrowth, going off on the left, just as the cable car is overhead.
