Haulfre Tea Rooms
An oasis on what was one of the hottest days of the year. An exquisite Victorian tea room with stunning views. Built c1865 as a house - 'Sunny Hill'. Haulfre Gardens were created by Henry Davis Pochin, the creator of Bodnant Garden. An early owner of the house at Haulfre was Tommy Lipton, who became famous for the national chain of Lipton’s grocery shops – and even more famous for his Lipton’s Tea.
