The tram forms part of Colwyn Bay's forties weekend celebration. The demolition site at the rear of the image is unrelated to the forties theme and relates to the redevelopment of the Market Hall.

Spitfire
This Spitfire forms part of Colwyn Bay's Forties celebration. The building at the rear is the Picture House, which is listed as an example of an early cinema, and is now a Wetherspoon's pub.

Metropole clock tower, Colwyn Bay
The large building on the corner of Penrhyn Road and Prince's Drive was built as a hotel in 1891.
The Metropole is now (February 2016) age exclusive housing containing 36 flats,
managed by the North Wales Housing Association. New residents must be at least 50 years old.
