Station Road Llanrwst
Blas ar Fwyd is the centre piece. A delicatessen and also a wine merchant (Blas ar Win) to the side right. The 'old' post office is slightly further to the right where collections are made but to buy a stamp or post a parcel you need to go to the newsagents in the square around the corner.

Milk Bar, Llanrwst
A curious survivor from the past, the Llanrwst Milk Bar was still trading at the time this photograph was taken. Milk Bars were invented in India in the 1930's and soon spread to the UK encouraged by the Temperance Society. Their popularity began to wane in the 1970's and the last one I saw before this was in Edgware, London in the 1980's.
