Bridge from Bethel, Melin y Coed.
Below the confluence of the Sychbant, Goron and Cyffdy streams, the bridge near the Melin y Coed Chapel is visible through the trees from the garden of Bethel, a private home which was once three homes, and where a shop operated in times of old.

The Mill at Melin-y-Coed
The mill dates from the 1700s and was in use until the first half of the 20th C. It was built on the site of an earlier mill. The plaque on its gable reads "Melin-y-Coed Mills, Rebuild 1883, Owen Hughes Millwright, Robert Jones Farm Yard".
