Anna Davies, Betws-y-Coed
Located alongside Holyhead Road (the A5), privately-owned and managed Anna Davies Ltd was established by Anna Davies (now Mrs Anna Evans) in 1956. The shop has several departments, stocking brands such as Portmeirion Potteries, Moorcroft, Barbour, Border Fine Arts, Tula handbags and FitFlop footwear. Text on the shop's nameboard includes "Countrywear" and "The Welsh Wool Shop"

Main Road through Betws-y-Coed
This is the main road through the village. It is the A5 which connects London and Holyhead. This road has now been superseded by the network of motorways and other dual carriageways.
