Looking towards the altar inside St Mary's Church. Sitting on the rood screen is a stuffed owl and the church furniture is covered with dust sheets - which in turn are covered with bat droppings.

Crucifixion panel at St Mary's Betws G G
Late 15th century panel, which at one time was part of a rood screen. These are unique in Britain - thousands of panels such as this were destroyed as idolatrous at the Reformation. This panel was rediscovered under a heap of rubbish in 1840.
