Medieval Cross
Mid- to late 15th century preaching cross in the churchyard of Derwen Church.

St Mary's Church, Derwen
This mediaeval church is undergoing refurbishment - the windows have been sent away to be re-leaded, and modern paint and plaster is being stripped to be replaced by lime plaster and lime wash.

Derwen church house and cross

Derwen cross, the Coronation
Derwen's historic preaching cross, with the Coronation of the Virgin Mary on the opposite side to the Crucifixion (see Image]). The cross stands some fifteen feet high and although missing the top section, still has a lot of ornate details. See Image] for a shot of the cross and the church house.
