Glandwr is a large house with well landscaped gardens and a large wildfowl pond. It also hosts the final section of Llwybr Gogledd y Berwyn, in my opinion "the best appointed section of path in Denbighshire."

Start of a very varied walk, Llwybr Gogledd y Berwyn
The North Berwyn Way starts off in a riverside garden (that used to be a railway) and goes via the Berwyn forests and heather moor to the bridleway down to Llangollen. A varied but wonderful walk on a good day but more challenging in poorer weather. http://www.deevalleywalks.com/berwyn1.htm

Railway Company boundary marker
The Llwybr Gogledd Y Berwyn utilises part of the redundant Ruabon to Morfa Mawddach railway track, on the lawn at the start of the walk is evidence of its one time owner. Image]
