The golden calf
The Bison herd is obviously very protective of its youngsters. Adults here shepherd the herd past on their flight from my approach and all focus is on the baby animals.

They are American Bison and they are farmed for their lean meat as part of the estate's organic produce retail operation. I must buy some.
