Valley of Afon Dyffryn Edeirnion at Corwen
View NNE, with the ex-GWR Ruabon - Llangollen - Bala Junction - Dolgelley - Barmouth line in the foreground. Closed in 1965, this has been restored by the heritage Llangollen Railway westwards from Llangollen in stages, the latest (2014) being from Carrog to Corwen.

Gorsedd Stones, Corwen
Half way up Pen y Pigyn, a hill to the south of Corwen, is the Gorsedd circle which was constructed in 1919 for the druid opening ceremony of the National Victory Eisteddfod in Corwen following the first World War.
