New convenience store and petrol station
This brown field site development will be a great local asset as there is no petrol supply in the town at present. (early 2012) The developer is a local store who have a good record of withstanding competition from the major stores.

Llangollen Masonic Hall
Originally built, around 1860, for industrial purposes, and subsequently a cafe, it's now the town's Masonic Hall. Grade II listed https://cadwpublic-api.azurewebsites.net/reports/listedbuilding/FullReport?lang=en&id=1189 & https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/300001189-masonic-hall-llangollen in 1989. A stone inserted into the frontage to the left of the far window is believed to have been removed from the medieval bridge over the Dee when that was widened and upgraded in the early 1870s.
