Zion Methodist Chapel
One of several chapels in Fron, this one bears a plaque in the gable end (below the red tilework) which states that it was built in 1850, and extended in 1901.

Newbridge Viaduct from Froncysyllte
Newbridge Viaduct spans the Dee valley and carries the railway line that runs from Chester to Shrewsbury. It was built by Henry Robinson, a Scottish engineer, in about 1856.
