Footpath along bottom of horse paddock
Typical of the weed flora in a long term horse paddock. Dockens (Rumex obstifolius), thistles (Cirsium vulgare and C. arvense) and buttercups (Ranunculus repens) are all present in large numbers. The horses are kept off the footpath by an electric tape fence. Read more about these weeds at http://www.gardenorganic.org.uk/organicweeds/weed_management/index.php
