Merseyside Connections Mosaic Trail The Beatles The Legendary Liverpool pop group, the Beatles, performed in Rhyl's Regent Dansette Ballroom on Saturday 14 July 1962. Mosaic created by Rhyl Youth Forum. Red telephone box, Rhyl railway station
The red phone boxes, designed by Giles Gilbert Scott, are a relatively rare sight, these days. Giles Gilbert Scott also designed Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral, about 20 miles, or so, to the east. There is another red phone box, along the line, at Chester station. This one is situated at the bottom of the footbridge staircase, on platform 1. For the one at Chester, see: Image
