Memorial to David Lees-Jones
This window is unusual because it contains a photograph as a part of the memorial.
David Lees-Jones was sub-lieutenant with the RNVR. He was based at HMS Pintail a naval air station in Northern Ireland.
He died, aged, 21, in December 1945. His body was never found.
He is commemorated on the Fleet Air Arm memorial in Lee-on-Solent, Hampshire.
His parents, John and Alice May Lees - Jones, lived in Llansannan.

St Sannan's Church, Llansannan
Seen through the Lych gate. St Sannan was an Irish monk who travelled widely and may have befriended Dewi (David), patron saint of Wales, and St Winefride’s father. It’s said that he was buried near her in Gwytherin (south west of Llansannan) after his death in Ireland.

The East windows of St Sannan's
The left window was given in 1910 by Mr Wynne York of Dyffryn Aled in memory of Penelope Wynne York.
The right hand window in the Lady Chapel was given c 1900 in memory of John Pugh, Rector of the parish for almost 30 years and his wife Frances Jane Cooper.
