Gates to Plas Llanrhydd
The gates to Plas Llanrhydd, with the lodge on the left. The hall was built in 1620. Stanley John Weyman moved to the hall in 1895; today he is a forgotten literary giant of the late 19th century, who wrote best-selling historical romances. He is buried in St Meugan's cemetery across the road from the hall. Image
