Rose Cottage
Rose Cottage is on Rhos Street, Ruthin, and was restored in 2000. It is a rare example of a labourer's cottage built in the 16th century with a cruck frame. It is the only thatched house in Ruthin.

Rhos Street Chapel, Ruthin
A Nonconformist Sunday School began to be held in Rhos Street around 1788 in an old barn. A Mr William Parry purchased land nearby for £20 and Capel y Rhos was built upon it. Throughout the nineteenth century the chapel attracted worshippers from a wide area around the town. Capel y Rhos later became a 'mission' chapel before its final closure. It then became a car repair workshop and now houses the post office vans.

Ruthin primary schools
The older building was Rhos Street School while the newer section in the middle was Ysgol Pen Barras, a Welsh medium primary school. Both schools have been relocated to brand new premises on the "other " side of town, which leaves yet more redundant buildings in Ruthin.
