Procession at the National Eisteddfod, Wrexham
Led by one of the trumpeters, the Blodeuged (gift of flowers) is carried by a young maiden from the area hosting the Eisteddfod to the Archdruid in the Gorsedd ceremonies. It is a symbol of the desire of the youth of Wales to offer the flower of their talents to the National Eisteddfod. Following her handmaidens, are local children who will perform a dance for the winning bard at the Ceremony.

Maes yr Eisteddfod, Wrecsam
The "pink pavilion" at the Wrexham National Eisteddfod and some of the many thousands of people visiting the Eisteddfod. An annual event, held alternately in North and South Wales, the Eisteddfod attracts people from all parts of Wales and beyond, who make the annual pilgrimage to the maes (field). Some eisteddfod-goers never go near the main pavilion, but spend their time wandering the maes and meeting friends.
