Hall Street, Rhosllanerchrugog
The chapel on the left is Bethlehem, a Welsh Independent Chapel. From very small beginnings in 1812, the chapel was rebuilt and extended over the next century. In 1891, there were over 1000 in the congregation

Bethlehem Chapel schoolrooms
Now disused. The property comprises a Grade II Listed building forming part of the featured Bethlehem Chapel next door. Image] The Listing Entry does not refer to the school room building specifically. Listed Building Consent was Granted for the conversion of the building under code number P/2014/0608. Planning permission for the development of the building into six residential apartments was granted by Wrexham County Borough Council under two concurrent applications (for two apartments plus four apartments) on the 8th August 2015 under code numbers P/2014/0606 and P/2014/0607 respectively.

Bethlehem Chapel
Bethlehem Chapel was built 1812 and modified, altered or rebuilt in 1839, 1876 and again in 1889 (when the architect was Owen Morris Roberts of Porthmadog). There were further modifications in 1908 and 1926. The chapel is an unusual example of the Rundbogenstil. Grade II listed. CADW source 17090.
