The South Door of St Chad's Church, Holt
This is a rather ornate door probably reflecting its position facing the site of the former Holt Castle gate. The doorway carries a low Tudor arch with decorated stonework, including shields with spandrels. One shield is quartered with coats of arms of England and France. Above the door is a very weathered sculpture thought to represent the Annunciation.
