Japanese Garden, Acton Park Wrexham
The torii or sacred gate at the entrance to a small Japanese Garden. The nearby board informs that restoration and tidying up work has been supported by local groups and companies, and much of the work carried out by volunteers and pupils from Rhosnesni School.

Acton Park is popular with dog walkers out for a morning stroll. There are geese, swans and coots on the pond; fishing is permitted.

Christmas morning at the lake, Acton Park Wrexham
The lake was formed as part of the landscaped grounds of Acton Hall. The hall was demolished in the 1950s and part of the estate has been built on for housing, but the remaining park provides a recreational area with paths, children's play areas, tennis and bowls and angling on the lake.
