Previously an Inn dating from the mid 19 th century. Named because of the distance shown on the milestone outside. 3 miles to Wrexham.
The graveyard next to the house belonged to the Adwy Chapel.

Ruthin Plate by the A525, in parish of Coedpoeth (Wrexham County Borough District), Adwy'r Clawdd, in wall of No 47, just east of Cemetery, partially buried against wall, North side of road.
