The Old Library at Wrexham
The old library in Queen's Square was built in 1907, with money donated by Scottish American businessman and philanthropist, Andrew Carnegie (of Carnegie Hall fame). The building served as a library until the new one was opened in 1971. Since 1972 the building has housed council offices. *Source: buildingsofwrexham.co.uk

Former Pebble fish & chip shop, Wrexham
In late September 2016, a SHOP TO LET board is on the Argyle Street premises. The Wrexham.com website reported that the business closed down in early July 2016. The owners stated that footfall in the town centre had fallen dramatically during the previous eight years, with things getting worse in the past twelve months.
