The Tardis has landed in Newtown Linford
I tried to get in to see how much bigger it was inside, but unfortunately it was locked. Situated at the entrance to the village car park, this police box is one of very few of its type to be still in active use by the police. It is a listed building.

Newtown Linford village store and tea room
In the heart of the village opposite the church is the village store and Post Office Tea Rooms. The actual post office closed in 2008, but the store survives.

Car park one
The main car park at Bradgate Deer Park was quite empty when we arrived but by 1:30 it was full and two of the overflow car parks were in use.

The evening sun lights up the tower of Newtown Linford church. Close to the entrance to Bradgate Park, the church dates from the 14th century and has a modern stained glass window depicting Lady Jane Grey, born at nearby Bradgate House.
