Wigston Glen Parva railway station (site), Leicestershire
Opened in 1884 by the London & North Western Railway on the line from Leicester to Birmingham, this station closed in 1968. No trace apparently remains.
View west towards Blaby and Birmingham. A modern replacement station was opened 300m behind the camera position in 1986. See Image

South Wigston Station
This small station with its staggered platforms is on the main Leicester to Birmingham line. The bank is a mass of marguerites with a few iris. The bridge carries a footpath from Kenilworth Road towards the shops on Blaby Road
