Building on London Road, Uppingham
This Victorian brick building (1897) with stone window dressings, formerly workshops for Uppingham School, is on the corner of London Road and Spring Back Way. But it no longer seems to be part of the school, as it does not appear on their buildings plan. Above it is the "tramps boarding house, on the site of the Chequers Inn" (Source: http://www.francisfrith.com/pageloader.asp?page=/search/photos/viewphoto.asp&neg=U10062&townid=U10&collectionid=10&start=1 )
