16 Main Street, Empingham
Former farmhouse, late 18th century. The steep pitch of the roof suggests it was originally thatched before being “modernised” in Ancaster style, when the larger pane dormers were probably added. Listed Grade II.

Foundation stones, Empingham Methodist Church
There are a total of 18 dedicatory stones across the front of the Methodist Church in Empingham. All carry the date 17th of August 1899. There are wide panels like this one of 3, 5, and 3 under the windows, 5 single plaques in the buttresses between, and 2 on the front of the schoolroom.
I have photos of all of them, but they are not all distinct, and several are obscured by shrubbery. I can supply the others on request.
