Village name board
The horse shoes, of course, refer to Rutland. The sign says that Streeton is twinned with Bienville, but there is no further reference to this on the village web site at https://strettonrutland.co.uk/

Village pump

Emergency telephone
I have never seen one of these before, and I think they should be far more widespread. Every converted phone box with a defibrillator in at one time had a telephone pair. It is (currently) simplicity itself to connect one of these. Come 2025 when the PSTN (copper wire) telephone service is switched off, I wonder what will happen to it. This is next to Image

Village Centre
The middle of Stretton Village has a postbox, a former telephone kiosk with a defibrillator, and the (non-functioning) village pump. The stone wall behind surrounds the former village school. See Image for an older version with the telephone still in use.

Church of St. Nicholas, Stretton
On the very western edge of the square. 5 yards further back and I'd be standing in SK9515.
