Willow-leaved pear, (Pyrus salicifolia 'Pendula'), is an unusual tree for street planting. These three appeared quite elderly, with substantial trunks and a dense head. Although they look like a small willow they have traditional looking pear blossom in the spring and produce small, hard, inedible fruit in the autumn. See
