5 & 3 Berrybushes, Market Overton
A row of 18th century cottages, combined to create 2 dwellings. Unlike most cottages of this period in the district, the roofs are of Welsh slate, possibly because they were at one time thatched. Listed Grade II.

Village stocks, Market Overton
Dating from around 1800. The lower cross-piece is clearly new, and although the upper cross-piece looks quite old, the Victoria County History of 1935 http://www.british-history.ac.uk/vch/rutland/vol2/pp141-145 notes that the cross pieces are of iron rather than wood. Possibly they suffered in the scrap iron drive of the Second World War. The taller of the two uprights is furnished with manacles and would have served as a whipping post. Listed Grade II.
