Oakham, Rutland (Centre)
A large, and seemingly typical, stone house occupying a prominent corner site. The elongated side of it stretches along Mill Street whilst the front elevation faces Burley Road. High Street lies behind the photographer.

Burley Road elevation of 5 and 6 Alwyne Close and 5 Burley Road, Oakham
Early 17th century house Grade II Listed as 5, 6 and 7 Alwyne Close, number 7 is out of sight down Bull Lane. The house was re-fronted early in the 18th century. Also Grade II Listed is the white Horseshoe Cottage 5 Burley Road.
