The Row, Garthorpe
Built in 1896 by the Earl of Dysart's estate, replacing an earlier row of cottages. Comprising 9 dwellings, it represented at the time at least 50% of the housing stock in the village, supplemented post-WW2 with a few council houses on the main road.

Bridge over the River Eye, Garthorpe
This appears to be of relatively modern construction, probably 1950s. The house is Mill House, although there is now no sign of the mill which was located just upstream to the right.
