A curtailment of some of the climbing plants seen in this 2010 picture http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3016551 has improved the view of the house. It dates from the early part of the 19th century, the cottage to the right being a later extension. Listed Grade II.

Saxby, near Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire
Looking down the street from the Church gate towards the B676. The telephone box, just beyond the red car, marks the spot where the boundary with the next square crosses from east to west. Beautiful old trees on the right and a fine old stone and brick wall bounding the Vicarage garden to the left.
