Brooksby Hall
A country house, later an agricultural college and now part of Brooksby Melton College. Land-based courses are still a major element. The house dates back to the late 16th century, the oldest section being that between the two left hand projecting gables. Successive additions and alterations occurred in the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. During much of the 19th centuries it was used as a hunting box, but in 1911 it became the home of Rear Admiral Beatty who commanded at the Battle of Jutland. It became an agricultural college in 1945. Listed Grade II*.

Brooksby Campus, Brooksby Melton College
Brooksby Agricultural College merged with Melton College in 2000. There is a mix of historical and modern buildings. Brooksby was once the seat of the Villiers family and the estate grounds are kept immaculate … a lovely setting for this campus. St Michael and All Angels' Church has a 14th century tower which can just be seen emerging from the trees.
