Ruins off Sandy Lane
Abandoned red brick building encountered while following the bridleway from Burton Lazars to Sandy Lane.
I had a local dignitary with me as company, but he could not furnish me with a name for this place.

Footpath towards Burrough on the Hill
A few years ago just here there were several derelict farm buildings. Planning permission was granted to convert the farm buildings to 3 houses. One suspects that very little of the original buildings remain!

Heading south along Sandy Lane
The public footpath heads off to the right along a farm track and on to Burton Lazars.

The paved section of Sandy Lane used to end just here and become a rough grass field track and this was a place of fly tipping and burnt out cars. On the day this photograph was taken there was little evidence of that and a sea of mud by the lane.
