Barrow Lock Bridge
A typical hump-backed canal bridge, now the entrance to a caravan park. The brick building is a sewage pumping station.

Barrow Lock.
The lock has been emptied and the right hand boat has just started to move out of the lock. This is one of the deeper locks on the Soar navigation.

Barrow Deep Lock in Leicestershire
Barrow Deep Lock is No 51 on the Grand Union Canal (Leicester Section)/Soar Navigation. This wide lock provides a rise (or fall) of 9ft 7in (2·9 metres) between the River Soar and the canal. The green traffic light indicates that navigation conditions on the River Soar beyond the lock are safe. https://www.geograph.org.uk/snippet/7839
