The Castle Inn Pengenffordd
Between about 1860 to about 1900, perhaps beyond, this Inn had landlords from the Talgarth area "Jones" family. Firstly Samuel Jones and then his son David Jones. They brewed their own beer. David Jones eventually retired and moved nearer to Cwmdu (by the old Forge). He lived to the ripe old age of about 97 and is buried with his wife and a son in the Moriah Chapel at Pengenffordd.
