The Old Gasworks
A new estate on the site of the old gasworks in Oaklands. A large volume of contaminated earth was removed from the site before construction started. The site was also used as a County Council Highways depot before land was re-used.

Oak Farm, Oaklands
Entry to Oak Farm, presumably the residential estates were named after the farm. Formerly a working dairy, they now deliver pre-processed milk to households.

White House Campsite overlooks the River Wye just minutes walk from Builth Wells http://www.whitehousecampsite.co.uk/. In the background the hill overlooking Builth is Garth, the trig point is at 281m above sea level.
