Lancaster Canal
In the well heeled village of Hest Bank. The sign on the moorings indicates swimming is not advised due to Crocodiles. Just as well I spotted it as I was on the point of diving in for a cooling dip.

Hatlex Swing Bridge, Bolton Town End, Lancashire
This is one of the few swing bridges on the Lancaster Canal. It is an accommodation bridge carrying a private road to some houses. It is one of over 2,300 movable bridges in the British Isles that I have identified for my historical website. www.movablebridges.org.uk
