Eclipse watchers on Torrisholme Barrow
At the approximate time of maximum eclipse.
The poses say it all - everyone looking in different directions, cameras and pin-hole viewer not in use, no-one wearing protective glasses.
We had a few short glimpses of the crescent sun through the cloud, but that was it.
