Westgate bridge
The bridge has been widened at some time: the arched western side is probably the older, crossing the original Midland Railway route; the eastern side with is steel girder supports is probably more recent, probably after closure of the railway line c.1966.

Westgate overbridge, Morecambe
This bridge carried Westgate in Morecambe over the former Midland Railway's Morecambe - Leeds line (closed 1966). It is now the Morecambe - Lancaster Cycleway.
