Arrival from Lancaster
The 1442 arrival from Lancaster approaches the station as seen off the west bridge.The line to the right of the picture leads to Heysham. Now only one passenger service a day takes this line to the station at Heysham. The trains can only access Heysham by reversing at the station which is situated behind the photographer.

Drainage culvert under West End
