Bas relief sculpture, Heysham
This is near to the car park in the centre of the village. It is called 'Spirit of Heysham', but she does not look very happy, and what is she going to do with that cannon ball?. Underneath is a nice seat; there is another similar one nearby.

Row of shops, Main Street, Heysham
This includes a café, Sam's Kabin. The little house to the left was built in the early to mid-18C, and is easily overlooked, being set back from the 19C building line. The listing details suggest that it might be the surviving part of a larger house, as it has quoins only on the right-hand side; also that the eaves and the first-floor window surround have been raised at some time as there is a change in the type of stonework.
