Apartments, Sandylands Promenade
The rear of the apartments, showing a partly blanked-off and faded advertisement on the gable end of the adjoining building. It's advertising "The best show in town" at the Alhambra or the Pavilion (I think - I'm not sure which came first).

Heysham Road, Morecambe
Flats and shop at the junction with Sefton Road. The shop, previously a local supermarket, is for sale. I presume that closure was prompted by the opening of a new local supermarket about 50m away, by the UK's largest grocery retailer. Note the new 20 mph speed limit sign.

A major landmark pub which is now closed. It is prominent in the description of local bus routes. You would think there used to be a battery here of the defensive kind, but I can't find any reference to it.
