Three Radio Masts at Langthwaite
Taken from the Langthwaite Road, this photo shows three radio masts at Langthwaite with their aerials and microwave dishes fixed on them for radio communication. The mast in the middle has a red aircraft warning light at its top so that it can be seen for miles around at night.

Signpost at the crossroads in 1986
One proceeds left into Langthwaite Road, right into Wyresdale Road and straight on into Littlefell Lane. The bottom arm of the signpost reads Lancaster 2 miles, the top arm reads, at the top: Caton 4½ miles and at the bottom: Hornby 9 miles. In the distance is Clougha Pike.
