Old Milestone, High Road, Halton
The milestone is located at the junction with Lunesdale Road by No 128, on the deep verge, on the south east side of the road. Parish of Halton-With-Aughton (Lancaster District). Carved stone post erected in the 19th century.

The Penny Stone
The Penny Stone in Halton.Placed in a garden on Penny Stone Road. I could find no information on the internet about the stone. A local character told me that travellers crossing the Lune on a nearby Toll Bridge placed their Pennies on the stone.
