St Luke's Church, which is dated 1898 on its foundation stone, is a Grade II listed building (Historic England List entry Number: 1071855 https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1071855 ). The church was originally a chapel of ease in the parish of Holy Trinity, Bolton-le-Sands, becoming a parish church in its own right in 1934. The building is also used by the Hest Bank United Reformed Church.
